fighting males

You need to read more on the breed. When they mature at about three years old you stand a good chance of one killing the other. There
is hardly ever a male akita that will give in on being the dominant dog. The Japanese hunted them only a male and a female together for
this very reason. It's part of the breed. My first one back in the early 70's stayed tolerant with one of his litter mates through out their
whole lives but they were both well trained , never allowed to growl at each other without being reprimanded and were not together very
often after the three year old mark. After having a fight please don't allow them back together.
