His vet thinks he might have PSS (portal systemic shunts) which is a liver condition. We'll find out for sure in 30 days when they do another blood test and ultrasound.
This is basically a condition where the portal vein develops branches that allow blood to pass through the liver without being detoxified and causes a variety of symptoms and problems. It's treatable, but requires surgery, which is always risky. Thanks!
