Hi,
I am puppy sitting my Akita's 1 year old son while his human is looking for a new place to live. Right now I have a total of 4 dogs in the house 2 Akitas a bLack lab and a terror ooops i mean Terrier. Anyway my problem is with the pup, I work at home so I am here most of the time but when I have to go out on a job and leave the dogs home the pup decides to jump up on everything, the other day he cleared my desk and the dining room table for me, we tryed kenneling him but he broke the kennel, we told his human to get him a new one even though I hate the idea of kenneling. Any ideas on how to get him to break this habit. I do believe this has to do with seperation aniexty, the first people that where taking care of him basically left him in the yard and barely cared for him, he was 110 lbs last month and when I got him this month he was 79 lbs, took him to the vet and had him checked for worms, he is puting on weight again.
Anyway any advice would be helpful. He is a really sweet boy.
