Wayne got Hits for sure, when offer Schematics for same. Poor guy, he will be begged for these, long after the end of next century. ADI MicroScan CM700.
ADI www webpages have no user guide, and have no idea what tube it has (ADI MicroScan CM700) I have 3 of these, have no clue also as to what those 2 ports are in rear (mic logo and what appears to be a PS2 or svga port..?
No power on, "chirp or snap" heard in 1 second intervals, is this the heart in cardiac arrest need a flyback soldering perhaps ?
OK, IAm new, it happens..Yes I have used chewing gum foil to bridge the gap of an ill fitting fuse connect
and a hunk of stem from a black cow all day candy.
(that was 4 years ago, it still works..)
Wayne, are you reading this ? Am I too late...again?

which waits in the dark basement, waiting...who shall dare fire it up...and distrub its rest."

Many thanx to Wayne for schematics...I still however need to identify why the monitor does not come on...but rather makes a continuous faint chirping sound...any help very much appreciated.

I sounds like your P/supply is under too much load or has no load at all.. maybe it might be worth trying disconnect the power rail and hook up a light bulb to your power rail. Light comes on ,P/S is well, if she chirps then you know the P/S needs help
just a suggestion
cheers

I see that contribution of Wayne has perhaps just what I also seek. Anyone comment also encouraged please in
re:ADI MicroScan CM700 I have 3, one is no picture, no light but hear "snap-click" sound on power up in 1 second intervals, nothing more. I have not opened this ones case. This must mean relay to call High voltage is
failing in task, require removal of flyback unit, red wire spring/suction cup from CRT and unsolder from mobo
the flyback, replace with compatable module? Any other
cautions here besides not doing this while in Spa or
shower stalls?
No, I have never succeeded in removal of soldered
components from electricial mobo or cards, perhaps because I could not find adequate documentation for same, my cures have always been chewing gum wrappers and aligator clips, and a home made plastic screw driver carved from a coat hanger composite material
to adjust those deep interior pots with whilts the
scrren showing immediate effects.
Obviously Iam new......
Any assistance would be appreciated, I am no dummy save for tossing away something that could be repaired
I just cant bring myself to send these children to CRT heaven, and Iam told that this constitutes idiotic
behavior, and obsession.
Thanks in advance

Do you have schematics for a ADI microscan monitor type 931G. If you do please
E-Mail them to me. I need to Know the value of R813 (it is O/C and too burnt to read its value.) Q806 is O/C and the markings are unreadable.
