I have to replace the signal cable from a Compaq V75 monitor but I cannot open the cover. I unscrewed all screws I could find but until now no luck.

Can somebody explain me how to open this type of monitor,

i have v75 compaq monitor i have to replace the vga signal adapter(15 pin male)i need the schematics for pin numbers to connect to what colour)another words i do not know what colour should connect to what pin numbers.please send me the schematics

Hi unless someone has the same monitor type on the bench you will not have any luck on cable colours.

The manufacturers do not show the cable colours and very often do not even show the cable in the service manual only a part number to buy a replacement.

If you are lucky the signals will be marked on the PCB next to the connectors where the cable goes.

And if you are conversant with monitors you will know the connections at the 15W HD off by heart.

Uncrew firts four (4) pc screws of plastic cover and take flat crew driver put it in the little holes (2) upside of monitor and lift little so that nail open and slide cover off
