My Compaq MV 7500 went south for the winter on me today and need a schematic and troubleshooting tips on it. When it comes on, it will try to colapse 5 or 6 times then I get a bright white raster with no snow and retrace lines. if I leave monitor on long enough it will shut itself down like it is drawing too much current. Any suggestions?

Could anyone please tell me the pin-out for the VGA cable for the s7500. The reference number is PE1163.
There are 12 wires, since each model is unique I need a specific update. A schematic does not mention the pin numbers. Does anyone have a schematic with the pin-out mentioned

Hi most schematics do not show these connections as the cable was classed as a spare part.
SVGA complete connection list
Red inner Pin 1
Green inner Pin 2
Blue inner Pin 3
Pin 4 n/c
Pin 5 sometimes used as monitor self test if not connected to card displays either blank screen or self test or no sig.
Red Outer Pin 6
Green Outer Pin 7
Blue Outer Pin 8
Pin 9 n/c
Pin 10 digital Gnd
Pin 11 n/c
Pin 12 DDC SDA
Pin 13 H sync
Pin 14 V sync
Pin 15 DDC SCL
You can now look at the schematic to check the connections as the schematic will have signal names.
