Hello...have 2 Sony CPD-300SFT computer monitors that have both failed about 1 month apart. When power is applied, sounds like the HV is trying to start, but stops and I get the amber flashing power save LED. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem, when I turn on the monitor the amber light comes on and flashes, it was happening for a few months, then yesterday it would just not turn on at all, and making a very high pitched faint noise.

I am wondering whether it is worth repairing it or not. Thanks in advance
