I have a monitor Compaq S500 CMC518X chassis, which burns the trans. horizontal
BU2520DX, when changing it after 5 mins, burns the transistor again
and the IRF630 also damages, then this monitor fastens but it doesn't load
and does it sound as a relex each moment that this could be????

Hola Jose, me han traido tres monitores Compaq S500 y a todos les habian retirado el HOT, por lo que no sabia cual ponerle, termino de leer que el tuyo usa el BU2520DX lo voy a probar, el cliente dice que en 640x480 funcina bien pero que en 1024X768 se quema el HOT, tengo la idea de que algun capacitor en el circuito de driver del HOT puede provocar esta falla, tambien dice que cdo. el CPU entra en standby y sale de esta situacion el HOT tambien se quema. Cualquier cosa te cuento

I got the same problem before and found out that there is a faulty cap (leaky) connected to tha base of the horizontal transistor. Forgot the value but it's an electrolytic cap.
