I have a Compaq P1610 which uses the same G1W chassis as the FW-900.
I wonder if anyone could give me some advice on a problem I am having with it.
The problem is uncorrectable pincushion distortion. Horizontal adjustments (center and size) work properly. Vertical adjustment works erratically (it does work somewhat but the picture sometimes jumps up or down and increases in large steps when adjusting. Otherwise the picture is stable (not moving).
Adjustment of pincushion causes vertical lines to become wavy.
Where to look for fixing this problem?
I tried to make adjustments with DAS. Problem is that it doesn't recognize the monitor, even though some of the tables contain data for this monitor.
I loaded the monitor with the defaults for the FW-900 but that didn't help. After that it became much slower in changing from one resolution to another,
so I changed it back to the monitor's original settings, which I had backed up of course.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
