19" Optiquest (Viewsonic) V95 model:VCDTS21383 computer monitor,year:March 99,FCC ID code:GSS19000,UL listed:3G83,CSA File no:LR700676.
One day out of the sudden the picture became short left to right (insufficient horizontal deflection) and the remaining visible picture which is about 2" in total is somewhat slightly scrambled,anyone have any common repair tips for this chassis?.Thanks.

I found Q303=2SC5331=NPN HOT=to have a base to emitter of about 70 ohms and a base to collector of about 230 ohms so the HOT transistor is almost completely shorted.Before I replace it anyone have any common repair tips?.Thanks.
