Hi

I have a fried zener diode i'm trying to identify with no luck.
It is D804 on the pcb.

The only markings i can see on the diode are "z 18c".

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanx!

At first i doubted its 18v since its connected to a 200kohm resistor which
has around 100v on it.
But will give it a try anyway.

FCC ID: h4icm17004

Hi is this in the power supply.

The unit is a Lite-On so schematics will be hard to find.

Hi if this unit uses the 3842 as a psu chip then I guess this zener is on pin 7 and it may have blown due to a regulation failure as the psu will provide its own supply to this IC once it powers up, the 100k I guess is a start up supply.
