My nokia 446PRO has been getting brighter and brighter, I adjusted the G2 in the service menu and the picture was ok. But it keept getting brighter, so I adjusted the brightness on the flyback transformer. The picture was ok but slightly to red. But then suddenly there was horizontal shadows. If the screen is white with a dark object, there is a horizontal shadow of uniform strenght in height of the dot over the whole screen. The strange thing is that the shadows don't affect the OSD.
Does anyone have any ideas, or a service manual or schematic, it's impossible to find for this monitor.
Thanks
Pekka

Its probably the supply voltage to the video ouput stage that is low. Check the smoothing capacitors in the supply rail - it will be 80V or so. Failng this, check the G1 and G2 circuits; is the problem worse when its cold?

Thanks I'll check that, it would help though if I had a schematic. Does anyone know if there are som similarities between this and other Nokia monitor models?
Any way, the ghost pictures are the same all the time, but the brightness is worst when it's cold.
