Hp 1120 washout problem

hello,

i have several hp P1100 and P1120 monitors. all with the same washed - out problems. the P1110 are no problems because i can repair it with the flyback but with the P1120 there isnt a screw for the brihtnes only knobs for vertical and horizontal convergence . is there a hidden knob or is it done some other way ?

I guess this is a Sony chassis if so there will be an SCC code on a label inside.

This forum has lots of posts on Sony brightness problems.

You have to decrease the G2 voltage by some R-divider.
