Hello,
I am needing a service manual for the following Gateway monitor EV700-7000965 FCC ID IAWYE0711. Can anyone help? I have found the HOT bad cannot get the unit to power up with it removed so I can test the output of the PSU? Please help... Thanks.

Hello thanks for the manual download list. You don't happen to know a location that sells parts for this monitor. I need the SMPS Transformer and have tried in vain to get Gateway or MAG to help. Thanks if you can help.. I appericate it very much.

Hi switch mode transformers do fail but very rare unless the model has a history ie duff batch of transformers.

I have had to only replaced 2 in 25 years and one of those was in a TV.

Do you know anyone that sells a switch mode transformer for this model of monitor, I had the primary side of this transformer burn out, along with several other parts of the power supply section. I have been searching all over the net to find the source or manufacturer of this transformer, and have not had any luck. If the markings on the transformer are any help or they seem familiar here they are: T*E 421 522 *A TE B1 9837. Thanks for any help you can give me on this subject.

Hi the chances are unless you find someone who has a scrap chassis or complete scrap monitor you will not get one.
