my monitor screen is remaining black when I start up my system.
I can hear the monitor 'wake' but the screen remains black.
I switched monitors and the system worked fine, so I know its the monitor itself.
anyone have any suggestions?
is this something I can get repaired or will I have to buy a new monitor, which I don't want to do
considering the cost of the apple monitor.

Same thing happened to me yesterday, I'm still looking for an answer. I would like to fix it since it was a great monitor.
