The problem is this: my backlights do not work. Does anyone have specs on this monitor or does anyone know which wire to test going to the inverter to see if it is indeed getting the correct signal to switch on? If anyone has any expertise with this monitor I could really use some help. Thanks

I dont know this model but most common fault is a
defective small fuse on the inverter board.
There are mostly located near the connector where power gets in for the inverter.
The inverter get signals on this connector such as: power (12 volt),GND ,on\off signal (5 volt =on) and a brightness signal (from 0 to 5 volts for max brightness so full output for the bulbs).

You try to disconnect one bulb and leave another connected.
Repeat for the other bulb.when one stays on the other side could be defect.
If there a differences there ,one bulb or tansformer could be defective.
Note that some models shut down automatically when sensed a nonballast output; after one or two seconds they go off.
.
Hope that this info helps.
