Hello people, I was wondering if you could give me some advice.
I have a Princeton EO40. It is rather old, bought it on '98. Used it regularly for like 3 years and then sent it to the attic. Now that I've unpacked it and connected it again it doesn't work very well.
I mean, it works, but it kind of distorts a little the picture on the corners.
Picture it like this:
You have a normal desktop screen, but if you look closer the corners are more blurry and the center is normal clear. This "blurriness" is circular and you can start noticing it almost at the border.
Yet another symptom is that it takes quite a while to show the picture when you turn it on. Not much, just more than usual, starting from a very dark faint picture and like in 2 or 3 minutes it slowly gets to full brightness (although blurry).
I am not very familiar with monitors per se, but I have a background in electronics, so I was wondering if you guys could tell me if there are some potentiometers to adjust or a capacitor to replace, etc. I am guessing this is easy because I never dropped it, always protected the power source with regulator, never got any magnets near it etc. It just, "aged" all of a sudden.
It seems to be obsolete, I didn't find any spes on the web. Luckily I still keep the manual, so here they are:
