i don't know what happens. but suddenly, when i connenct my monitor (QDK TE5555) to the cpu power supply, the main switchboard of my hostel goes off. then i checked the neutral and life point of my monitor using the multimeter and known that these 2 points are shorted. when i remove the fuse of my monitor, the life and neutral are open circuit. then , when the fuse is replaced back, the life and neutral become shorted. what should i do.

try checking the power supply section,especially the rectifier diodes,
the least suspect would be the transformer,
but this could also short under extreme conditions..

i borrowed my friend's monitor that is AOC brand. and the same problem occured. firstly it's all okay. but just a minute ago, the mainswitchboard goes off when i turned on my pc.
