Newbie here......I've been going crazy trying to resolve a video issue on my computer which I initially believed to be related to the system. However, since I hooked the monitor (A90f) up to another system and have the same problem I would like to know if anyone has advice. When I restart the computer, the monitor will not initialize; in fact, there appears to be no power getting to the graphics card as all system fans EXCEPT the graphics card come on. If I turn the main power switch on the computer power supply off, then back on, the monitor will wake normally. Is there any way the monitor could cause this? I'm not real familiar with the signal inputs to the monitor, but could something be "leaking back from the monitor to the graphics card causing this erratic behavior.

This could be a problem with the monitor getting old. Does the monitor do this on another computer?
Do you get the same symptoms with a known good monitor on your computer? Does the power light come on at all on the monitor.
Some monitor faults will harm the videocard in the computer.
