I replaced the CXA1907-S with a new chip. We had trouble getting pins 30 and 31 to go through the holes in the PCB.

The monitor now works but the red gun does not seem to be firing. Anything that should be red appears black now.

Is it possible/likely that a poor connection on pins 30 & 31 would cause the red gun in the CRT not to function? Is there another location on the board that I can jump pins 30 & 31 to?

Sony model/chassis would have helped.

N2H SCC-J53 uses this ic and 30 is green out 31 I guess is a clamp cap but circuit is not clear.
