Is it possible to replace broken notebook screens
with similar sized monitor lcd screens, removed from low
end lcd monitors.?

I repair at least 1 broken notebook screen a week. I buy them broken already and then buy a replacement screen on ebay. Easy enough to do. What is the make and model of machine you are talking about and I'll see what might interchange.
