Have one of this monitors with Q403 (BU2522AX) short.

I know that there are some capacitors arround that could make HOT go short if they are bad.

Can someone help me to identify the possible bad capacitors?

Best Regards.

Does a new transistor fail instantly or over time.

C414 will cause transistor to fail after a time, time depends on how poor C414 is.

C418 C419 if open will cause instant death.

Check also C951 and C432.

These will not help if b+ feedback is at fault.
