I have two of them, purchased at the same time, same problem. They black out then back on evey minute or so until they been running a while then it just happens evey so often. Any thoughts? TIA

Thanks for the links, but I have searched for two days and found none with my exact problem.(lots of "blanks out then manully turn off and back on") I take it it is a bad flyback causing the problem, and not worth the trouble of fixing. I repair computers but never been inside a monitor before until last night, i pulled the plastic to have a peek inside...I don't believe I'll be atempting this repair. Thanks again.

When it blacks out can you hear any clicks or pop sounds.

Is that when it blanks or when it comes back on.

I'm not sure I'll have to check, I think the click sound is when it goes out, blacks for about 1 to 2 seconds then come back on. I know nothing about monitors but I'm tempted to buy the monitor repair e-book and give it a shot. I found out today my work has 4 of these G810's, two that do as I explained and two the screen magnified way out of proportion and front panel adjustments do nothing. Has anyone here purchased this book? Will guide me as to how to discharge capacitors and what to watch out for?
