Viewsonic GS771 Model VCDTS21406-2M Chassis 17VS004 Powers up with HV but within about 5 seconds you hear HV ticking then shuts down. You can hear the HV on the picture tube charge and discharge as the set shuts down. Green power lit stays on. You still hear the vertical sweep and the tube heaters stay lit but no high voltage. Seems just the horizontal circuit shuts down along with the HV B+ As you hear the ticking you can see arcing in what looks to be a glass diode but has a board location prefix S and has color bars like a resistor. It’s located on the main board close to the flyback.
