Compaq S710 picture is fine in centre but on edges picture blurry and red/yellow/green lines are not aligned.
i dont know if i have explained it very well but any help would be appriciated.

Hi this is convergence.

On top of the CRT scan coil is a PCB tap this PCB with an insulated item and see if the fault changes.

This board can suffer with dry joints or dead points in the pots.

richard many thanks it would appear that a few dry joints on the scan coils was indeed the problem
