SIGNAL IS OUT OF RANGE

HI,ALL,
I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A COMPAQ MONITOR MODEL NO;PE1110
WHEN I CONNECT THE VGA CABLE TO SYSTEM IT APPEAR A MESSAGE THAT SIGNAL IS OUT OF RANGE AND NO MORE DISPLAY.
WHAT WOULD BE THE CAUSE?

The only ways i can thing of sorting this
1) get a good monitor and change it back to the right range.
2) remeber what buttons to click and you should be able to change the range down in the dark
3) delete the Graphics card in safe mode and make it reinstall but not at too Higher Monitor range as the Graphics card cant handle it


pick one from above im thinking suggestion 3 myself try it any way

DEAR SIR,
That is not cpu problem .The cpu is running ok at other monitor.Also it is not the vga cable problem.The problem is in the monitor.
