Hi, I have a sony trinitron multiscan 400PS that has vertical rolling when i hook it to a computer. Apperently one day it was turned on and this problem was present. It seems to not lock onto the Vsinc signal properly. if i run it at a low refresh rate such as 50hz it looks like it is not syncing properly, but if i run it at 120hz at 800x600 resolution it looks like it syncs on the first half of the picture, eg, i get the top half of the screen with the bottom half redrawn over the top half. Also the OSD is cut off, most of it looks good but the top part is cut off and put on the bottom of the screen. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone has any links to repair manuals for this model i would appreciate it. I have repaired many things like vcrs computers recievers radios phones etc. but i lack a good grasp with monitors and televisions. My ideas are that either there is a problem with the power supply, or something is wrong with the Vxync circuit. All the colors are fine and the horizontal scan component looks good.
