I have to slap my 4 yr old KDS (AV-195TS 19in.) before it comes up. Problem is getting progressively worse. After it runs for awhile, it seems to be OK. I know a little about electronics but have no schematics or test equipment. Could this be a dirty contact problem?

I have not opened up the monitor yet, but is there any specific area I should look for cold solder joints? I do have soldering skills but don't want to go poking around where I don't need to be. Thanks
