Hi

I've got a Micron 15fgx for repair. It seems to power up ok, sound of static, heater glows, front LEDs all operating as expected, no obvious faults but completely blank screen. From what I can tell turning the brightness to max doesn't lighten the screen either.

Except when I turn it off with it's mains switch, I sometimes see the VGA input flash up instantaneously. I always see the white scan lines collapsing. Could this be some sort of protection kicking in that begins to turn off as the supply voltages go down?

I'm not a monitor repair expert but have a background in electronics.

Heres a photo of the monitor boards.

I have checked most diodes and transistors on the board on the end of the tube as it looks like it got a bit warm around there.
