My Dell P991 has a red tinge to its display. However the osd's are not effected by the colour, I have tried the monitor on several of my pc's and still no change. Anyone come across this in the past? and figured out a fix for it?
Thanks loads
Jamie

Are you sure the OSD is not affected? Try selecting 'colour return' in the option or colour menu after the monitor has been on for 45 minutes. Set brightness to 30% and contrast to 100% 9300K colour temperature before doing this.

Thanks very mutch, i did not know about the warm-up period and the colour return solved my problem, However i now have another problem that is a bit more serious. Intermittently the whole of the monitors display (including OSD's) goes very blurey, the longer its left doing this the more blur there is. I turned off the power to the monitor straight after this. I left the monitor for 5-10 mins then turned it back on, and the monitor was functioning perfectly? anyone came across this?

Yes, its a common problem. It can be caused by either the line output transformer or CRT. Seem as the display had a red tinge (low emission blue and green guns), it sounds like the CRT is faulty; it has an intermittent focus short.
