Hi I need help on how to identify and repair the a horizantal line on my monitor

What color and size is the line?

hello i also have these red lines that run across my sony Monitor almost 3 years old now and cost me $ 400 new.is it worth getting it fixed ? the lines on mine are red and are very thin maybe 1/16 or a tad bigger.any comments as to if its worth getting repaired is much appreciated thnx :0) Johnny

Hi! please elaborate further what horizontal lines occur in your monitor screen. are these multiple horizontal lines running? or steady visible horizontal line under a white color screen? There are lots of trouble regarding horizontal line. above mentioned are example. please describe further about ur monitor problem for a more precise advise from us. Thank you.
