I have a SONY MULTISCAN 17SE that appears to be having a problem with one color. The screen goes from a normal color mix to an overall purple cast. Otherwise the monitor appears to be working normally. Is this a prohibitive repair or something that can be done relatively easy?

Hi the video lead is a common failure on these.

But a 2nd user with a warranty would be less expensive here in the UK than the cost of the lead.
