Recently my LG Flatron 795Ft gave up its ghost (no image or OSD) and together with a friend I got the circuit diagrams and manual for the monitor. Troubleshooting the mainboard we changed the STR83145 IC902 as no voltage was present and eventually we found that there was no HT. I got a new FBT (Y265434) and it was soldered in place. The monitor came back to life but focusing was compromised. Changing focus1 or 2 does not get all the screen in focus, if the centre is sharp the edges (all around) become blurred and conversly if the edges are sharp the centre is blurred. Is there anything I can do to get all the image sharp?

Swap the focus leads to the CRT base as some copies have the leads reversed.
