Hallo, prease, help me. I have problems with buttons on front side. 2 are working and 2 not. I need advice or schematic of monitor IBM E74 (made in year 2000). Thank you. e-mail dickss@seznam.cz

I think that is problem with a procesor.

I think it too. There are 2 butons on 1 wire and another 2 butons on second wire. Procesor recognize buton by rezistance. 1. buton is about 7Kohms and 2.buton is about 14Kohms. Maybe change rezistors. Or problem is in A/D converter in procesor NT68P61A. Look for www.alldatasheet.com

I found problem!! Change 2 rezistors 6,8Kohm and 6,8Kohms by 2,2Kohms and 2,2Kohms. Position of rezistor is next to buton on "mainboard". Thank you Richard!

Hi,
i have changed 6,8 k ohms, both of them with 2.2 k ohms, but still monitor doesn't work. 2 buttons are dead...

some advice?

E74 is not only one type My type is 6332 - T3N /S. I have 4 butons. Maybe you have another specification. Look to http://ibiza.ic.cz/ibm/ There is schema for CHASSIS NO. : CA-119

Hm... my type is the same, but the monitor is inside different, also outside... i think that is yours from Samsung, mine is Liteon..
Do you also have other map charts? 4 other models?

Hi, this is my type C1770nsl!!! My second problem is : when I turn ON monitor I must again set H.size, V.size, Trapezoid... I think, problem with momory of setting. Some advice?

I belive that, you have problem with eprom... memory... I think, that i also have problem with eprom, because eprom, has all of the commands in memory, where can procesor find it...
