My ADI MicroScan Model 931G has a problem of out of horizontal sync at higher setting.If I tried to the lower setting,horizontal sync locked on but have a vertical nonlinear instead.Any suggestion on this kind of problem . Thanks

Have you tried using some "Freeze Spray" around the Horizontal IC? Check for "Domed" Electrolytic Caps around the same IC, and along the High-Voltage Power Rail that comes from the Power Supply. This is usually marked and are about ! 180+Vdc, and normally runs to the Flyback, or to a "Series-Pass" FET which then supplies it to the Flyback:0) The higher the Scan rates, the higher the Freq's, the higher the Power consumption, higher heat, etc....
Freeze Spray can help locate leaking and faling parts.
