Faulty EV700A

Hi
I have a faulty Gateway EV700A Monitor. At start up I have a black screen. Under test mode ( not connected to PC ) and pressing the power button for 3 seconds the monitor will still not start up. The green power light comes on but after about 5 seconds I can hear a click and the power light goes off.
If you just press the power switch quickly then again after about 5 seconds you can hear the click but this time the green power light stays on.
Can anyone help me? I don't have any schematics.
Thanks

Hi there are about 4 versions of this unit the extended model number on the rear label would help.

If it is an LG chassis the most common problem is a failed FBT.
