I have a mitshubishi Diamond Pro 900u. When you press the power button the monitor turns on and off. It makes a clicking noise inside and the green light blinks in succession. I am told this is overvoltage protection. I would like to know what would cause this condition and how to check the components.
Thanks.

Check C903 by replacement must be 450V.

Then check C963, C972, C955, C956.

These all assume that overvoltage is the fault.

I've had this monitor for five years and then it started flicking every so often like a screen refresh but not from the computer. The flicking became more frequent then the monitor died. I've googled it and quite a few others had the same thing happen. I found this link on an indeprh google search. Do any of you know what the fault might be and can it be repairable.
