Viewsonic E773 too dark

Can someone please point me in the right direction. I took off the cover today looking for the screen voltage (G2) on the flyback transformer, but could not find the adjustment anywhere. It is a 17" monitor and the flyback has two controls on it, but they are both for focus. I looked all over that flyback and could not see another control. Is there a control somewhere in this monitor that I can adjust to fix the brightness? Without tearing the monitor apart, the only other visible controls were YV (verticle sync on the yoke) YH, and YHC. Am I blind?

I have the monitor's cpu controled contrast and brighness turned to 100% and the user defined colors maxxed out, but it is still way too dark. The only thing that helps is boosting the gamma on the video card, but I also need to use my laptop on this monitor and it is too dark to use.

Thanks,
Tom

First thing to check is the heater volts.

I don't know if these have a service menu but I do know that their is service software for some if not all Viewsonics.

How do I go about getting the service software for the Viewsonic?
