When I got this monitor, there were allready unsoldered the HOT, so i don't know its original number. Does anybody know it? I tried BU2520AF - burned immediately. BU508AF, BU2508AF and 2SD1398 burned after minute. With 2SC3883 the picture appears and after 10seconds the picture begin to cycle on and off (appear - disappear -apear - disappear...), the width and horizontal linearity is changing. The LED is blicking. Are all the transistors I used bad types? Or is there bad something else?

Hi for an 17" 85kHz monitor you will need a lot better transistor than the BU's or the 2SD 2SC3883 is a bit old and probably slow for an 85kHz monitor.

I tend to use a 2SC5570 where I do not know what was there before.
