Has black stripe on left side of screen the whole vertical length.

Seems to change shape and size with adjustment of brightness, Hoz Position Ect.

Like a Blanking type problem.

Is afected by Variac lowering voltage to about 70vdc input,
This seems to have a clearing effect but does not clear it completely.

Check the G1 upto the video board then work back from there.
