I have a newby support question. I have a Philips M34EDC13X monitor that the screen keeps going off and on. The brightness pot has to be maxed out to see the screen. Would that be a sign of the tube going bad?

Hi it is very unusual for the CRT to cause intermittant on an off picture.

Does it go off instantly or fade out.
