Worth repairing an IBM P260?

I bought an off-lease IBM P260 about 2 years ago. Recently, the picture
was a little fuzzy fuzzy when first switched on but soon settled down. Then last weekend, no picture at all.
Power is on OK and the signal is alright, because my wee spare monitor works. A pal says the tube is gone. What about these 9 buttons below the screen - any help there? Do I junk the monotor? (IBM say the warranty expired in 2004 - the story of my life!). With thanks, James.

When Richard B goes away, the forum will die

Richard B. a hire for free idiot making the money for Moses
If Richard B goes away, Moses goes away and the forum will die.
Selling stolen schematics and stolen factory service manuals is Moises bread and butter.
Compare to the USA, Brazil is 40 years behind on technical know how and technology. Brazil is still living on the Stone Age. Brazil minimum salary is
$ 80.00 per month. So they are muggers and criminals. Moses is one of them.
Moses is giving free schematics to shut up the public opinion. Moises Pereira swiftly makes changes on his forums and WEB SITES as tactics to shup the public opinion. Moises Pereira is a scammer

Hey Anonimous,
Don't you have anything better to spend your time on?
You don't like this site, people here. Why you coming back?
Go and organize your own forum and we will see which is better.

This is unlikely to be the CRT with a sudden failure like that.

You would need to fault find now checking what is not working, i.e. line scan, frame scan, EHT etc.

Rich: Many thanks for the info. As I haven't a clue what a CRT is, and have no idea how to go about checking line scan etc., I think the monitor has won!
