Help to Identify Fusible resistor

I have a monitor with an open resistor R607 in the main power supply.
The markings on this resistor are:

1/2W 0.1(symbol for ohm)K
Micron 35

I am assuming this is a fusible resistor with a value of 0.1 ohm, but I'm not sure.
Why the K? Does this mean x1000, which would make it 100 ohms?
Does anyone know of a source for this part?
Can I simply just use a wire strap?
...thanks

Manufacturers cut everything nor required to save cost, so linking out a protection component is dumb.
