Hi

I have just bought a used Phillips 170/s monitor. Basically when the pc is switched on the display comes up perfect, and then after 2 seconds it disappears. Then I switch it off, and then on and the same thing happens.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

I have just found out that it doesnt dissapaear but it is very faint, so i think the backlight has gone. Is this an easy fix? Anyone know where I can get it done?

I will advise you to check the power supply.Very frequent in monitor Acer AL511 when PSU faulty.
