I turn it on and although it tries to start up it doesnt reach full power and then the green LED lights with some clicking whilst the monitor seems to die down. LED flashing.
I have hooked a test 240 V 100W lamp across the now removed H OPT transistor but it glows very dim with slow oscillation of brightness.
EHT fizz to atmosphere can be heard at the poppy connection which is removed from the CRT.
Can anyone throw any light on this ?
