Hi I have a Northgate 17 inch lcd that just stopped working. I opened it up and found that one of the 4 boards (not directly connected to the lcd panel) was burned out. I have my EE friend trying to solder 2 new capacitors on it for me.. but if that doesnt work.... Is there anywhere i can just order a replacement board? the label on it says 24b3 . Is there some other part number or is that it? its the board furthest to the left if anyone is familar with it the skinny one surrounded in plastic.
THanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi thanks for the quick response, I had someone soldering new capaciters on so i Didnt have the chip, but turns out there is a bigger problem it isnt getting power. The chip that actually plugs into the power cord, what should i look for for the part number to order? because theres numbers all over it. The one that looks most likely has a CF in a circle in front of it and is 0394V0 with a filled in triangle after. If that isn't the number what should i look for to figure this one out? thanks in advance

Richard any luck with that number? or did I still not find the right number you needed? If not I will take a picture of the sticker on the back of the monitor.

I was reading the posts about your Northgate monitor and just wanted to add that my Northgate monitor seems dead as well. At first I would have to turn it off and on a few times before it "caught" the signal and was viewable. Now it is just dark all the time. The power light goes on but that's it. I tried it with different cables and on diffent PC's (even my Mac)but no luck. Any ideas. Is it worth paying someone to check it out or should I give up? Thanks
Dave
