Hi,
I have a Sony HDM-A220 monitor that doesn't turn on (the power led is off). I found the HOT shorted and replaced it (2SC3997 instead of 2SC5587), with no success.
What else should I check? I appreciate any help.

wat abwt ur fuse not blow.???
if not...
check filter capacitor firt...if the voltage present..
i think the problem is IC..3842
check the b+ output.....
also check diode for shorted..

I've already replaced HOT and Q501 that were both shorted.
When I turn on the monitor +B goes down and +51.9 test point begins to fall, but CN504 voltages(+5/+12/+6.3/+80) are aparently ok. I'll try to replace the filter capacitor.
