I have a 2 month old ProView 786n. A few weeks ago I started having some image problems when the monitor was first powered on. The image would be moved way to the left and weird buzzing kind of noise could be heard, this would slowly correct as the monitor was left on for a while. Eventually the image would correct to perfect. I worked around this problem by never turning it off. I decided to give it a try and turn it off last night and now it will not come on at all.

When i hit the power button a relay clicks then clicks again about 2 or 3 seconds later. I am not getting that static electricity sound you normally hear as a tv or monitor is coming on.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a repair kit here that possibly may help the DEAD problem right away.

Its possible it will fix the original problem too. Usually with these Proviews, the image shrinks horizontally or shifts horizontally first, then one day you loose the deflection and HV totally. This kit fixes it all.
