I have cleaned my monitor (catode tube ray), and now it has stains... I have trayed, alcohol and severals other cleaners, but still nothing?

If this is a CRT with a coating that shows all the finger marks etc.

The best way to clean is a damp cloth and then polish with a dry one.

Yes is a CRT... but it's not a problem with standard finger marks etc... On the tube was something like anti reflex (only on sony trinitron tubes),and nov has tube yellow stain.. how to remove them?(alcohol,gazoline and several others cleaners doeasn't works).

I smoke and I clean with just a damp cloth, I have 3 trintrons the dry buffing is the most impotant use dry soft cloth and keep rubbing you will see it clean up and all mine still have the coating.

I found if you try to clean with any chemicals it just makes a mess, I have not tried camera lens cleaning products though as this OCLI coating is similar to that of camera lenses.
