My iiyama Vision Master 502 started making crackling noise when in normal use today. It did that occasionally some hours. Right now it has been silent some time. I have heard that this might be caused by a failing or already failed component. I also heard that it may be a possible fire hazard. Is that true? I think that those noises could also occur because the monitor is very old and probably full of dust. I have never cleaned it. Right now i'm gonna blow that dust away with air compressor. Do you have any ideas? Will monitor be breaking up soon? Do you know of any schematics or service manuals for this monitor?
